Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Algebra at 4.7 against Algebra_Pro's 4.0. Algebra also leads on review sentiment (84% vs 50%) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 4). Algebra_Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Algebra holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Algebra has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Algebra ships an update every 4 months, Algebra_Pro every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
