The blue circle has calming effect while the mantra is for concentration so the mind does not wander to other thoughts. The state of relaxation is achieved by 20 to 30 minutes meditation. In a quiet dimly lit space the member who is seated will stare at the blue circle for two minutes. Then he will close his eyes and start chanting the mantra. Slowly the muscles will slacken.
