Verdict
iZip and Ideas both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Ideas's written reviews are positive against 61% of iZip's. Ideas also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). iZip's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (63K vs 15). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iZip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Ideas asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for iZip against 4.9 for Ideas. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iZip has 63K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of iZip's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ideas's.
iZip ships an update every 6 weeks, Ideas every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
