Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Pattern Sets at 5.0 against LetterSchool's 4.5. Pattern Sets also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). LetterSchool's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
