Verdict
Večernji list and 24sata.hr both sit at 2.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of 24sata.hr's written reviews are positive against 31% of Večernji list's. 24sata.hr also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Večernji list's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Večernji list sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 24sata.hr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
24sata.hr holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Večernji list has 21 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 31% of Večernji list's written reviews are positive against 75% of 24sata.hr's.
Večernji list ships an update every 3 months, 24sata.hr every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
