One Alarm is a minimal alarm clock. Drag the minute hand to set the alarm time. Drag or tap the switches to turn the alarm ON/OFF and quickly set AM/PM. If you’re sick of complicated alarm interfaces, One Alarm is for you. Tapping through multiple menus just to set an alarm is tedious. With One Alarm, you can set an alarm with one tap. Simply set the alarm and exit the app. A badge on the One Alarm icon will appear and countdown every hour to show approximately how many hours are left until the alarm sounds. We hope you like it! Love, CW&T

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Tiny Notes at 4.7 against One Alarm's 3.7. Tiny Notes also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 51%) and ratings volume (300 vs 20). One Alarm's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. One Alarm sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tiny Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Tiny Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tiny Notes has 300 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of One Alarm's written reviews are positive against 73% of Tiny Notes's.
One Alarm ships an update every 3 weeks, Tiny Notes every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
