Both are free to download. Drum Set sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Double Kick Drum Kit asks for nothing beyond the download.
Drum Set holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Double Kick Drum Kit has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Double Kick Drum Kit's written reviews are positive against 0% of Drum Set's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Double Kick Drum Kit ships an update every 5 months, Drum Set daily. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
