Make your own advent calendar and share it for free, no login required! Fill 24 doors with photos, text, videos, and snowmen, then send the finished calendar to someone you care about. They open one door a day in December, just like a real advent calendar, except that every door is something you chose for them. WHAT IT'S FOR An advent calendar you buy from a shop is the same one everyone else gets. This one is yours: 24 little moments, in your own words and your own photos. It works especially well for: - Sending to family and friends who live far away - Couples counting down to Christmas together - Parents making something personal for their kids - Teams, classes, and clubs sharing 24 inside jokes, memories, or thank-yous HOW IT WORKS Step 1: Create a calendar. A new calendar comes with 24 doors, scattered in a random arrangement so it looks like the real thing. Give it a name by tapping the title. Step 2: Fill the doors. Tap a door to open it and add whatever you like behind it. You can go one door at a time and come back later. Nothing has to be finished in one sitting. Step 3: Share it. Send the calendar file to the recipient with a tap. They open it in Advent Maker on their own device, and it's theirs to keep. WHAT YOU CAN PUT BEHIND A DOOR Photo Pick any photo from your library. You can also show the date the photo was taken, which is a nice touch for old memories. Text Write a message, a memory, a joke, or a countdown greeting. Place it in the corner of the photo, in the middle, or below the door, and add links in Markdown format when you want to point somewhere. Video Paste a YouTube video web address and the video plays right there, either inside the door itself or below it. Great for songs, home videos, and things you can't say in text. Snowman Drop in an animated snowman, drag it where you want it, pinch to resize it, and flip it to face the other way. Tap on it to make it jump and wink! Doors can be reordered by dragging them in edit mode, so you decide which surprise lands on which day. SHARING Sharing works by sending a calendar file, with no accounts, no links that expire, and no server in between. Anyone with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac can receive it. You can send the calendar in many different ways, including AirDrop, email, and the most popular instant messaging apps. If the recipient isn't sure what to do with the file, the app has step-by-step instructions for every method that you can copy and send along with the calendar. If you edit the calendar after sharing it, just share it again to send the updated version. YOUR CALENDARS Calendars you make and calendars you receive are kept in separate lists, so nothing gets mixed up. You can make as many as you like, and iCloud sync keeps them available across your devices. YOUR DATA Privacy first: your photos and messages never leave your device, except inside the file you choose to send. We can't see what's in your calendars. Only iCloud sync and embedded YouTube videos may handle information as part of their services. OTHER NOTES Landscape mode is supported on both iPhone and iPad. Bug reports and feature requests are welcome, and there's a feedback button right in the app. Read more in our Privacy Policy: https://adventmaker.app/privacy-policy
