For projects big and small, our comprehensive toolbox equips you with the latest product information, installation guides and advanced features to streamline your work, making your daily tasks easier. Simplify project management with customizable databases to track your work and pick up where you left off, anytime you need. The Danfoss Installer app offers a collection of useful tools and features: Radiator Presetting Set proper values based on valve, sensor, and radiator type, or alternatively by room size and heat loss. Get the heat emission, flow, and presetting right every time. Product Finder Search and access comprehensive product information, documentation, and details. Download Danfoss product documentation directly in the app. My Projects Make project management easier by creating a list of your clients and jobs, saving contact and building information, calculating system properties, and presetting for radiator and underfloor heating. Cloud-based, My Projects allows you to save everything in one spot for easy overview and fast access across all your devices. Hydronic Balancing Determine accurate system heat output with precise flow calculations. Tailor settings to valve type, handle position, and measured pressure. Flow/Pressure calculator Calculate, convert, or verify pressure, flow, power, and temperature (values or units). Floor heating Specify circuit lengths and calculate presetting for your floor heating manifolds. Select floor heating pipe type and dimensions, define heat loss, and divide rooms into circuits. Burner Converter Modify burner components and find spare parts in a matter of seconds, while keeping an overview of product updates and alternatives. Magnetic Tool Test solenoid valve coils quickly and easily. If the wheel rotates, your valve is good to go. Timer Replacement Select the appropriate timer replacement for a Danfoss or third-party unit. Installation guides are available as well. The application can be useful for HVAC engineers and contains 3 modules. Psychrometric Calculator - this module determines air properties based on input values such as dry-bulb temperature, wet-bulb temperature, and relative humidity. It provides results like humidity ratio, specific volume, enthalpy, and vapor pressure in both SI and IP units. Pipe Calculator - this module is used to calculate velocity and pressure loss in pipelines and to select pipeline diameters for a given maximum velocity and pressure loss. The module supports interdependent calculations of flow rate, heat load, and fluid temperatures: when any three of these parameters are specified, the fourth is calculated automatically. It can also be used as a reference for heat transfer fluid properties and pipe characteristics. Duct Calculator - the module is used to calculate the speed and pressure loss in round, rectangular and oval air ducts when moving wet or dry air through them, as well as to select their sections for a given maximum speed and maximum pressure loss. Additionally, the heating or cooling power is calculated for a given air flow rate, or reverse calculations: air flow rate for a given power; temperature of incoming or outgoing air for a given power and flow rate. It can also be used as a reference material for determining the properties of wet and dry air at different pressures and temperatures. Also in the description sections are the reference formulas by which the calculations are made. Web version: calc.ashrae-meteo.info

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Allday HVAC Calc at 5.0 against Installer App's 3.0. Installer App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.
