Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Date Calculator at 63% against CalT Lite's 0%. Date Calculator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 16 months). CalT Lite's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Date Calculator sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. CalT Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.
CalT Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Date Calculator has 200 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Date Calculator's written reviews are positive against 0% of CalT Lite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Date Calculator ships an update every 6 weeks, CalT Lite every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
