Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: דבר at 5.0 against ynet's 1.8. דבר also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). ynet's advantage is ratings volume (223 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ynet sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. דבר asks for nothing beyond the download.
דבר holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ynet has 223 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of ynet's written reviews are positive against 0% of דבר's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ynet ships an update every 5 weeks, דבר every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
