Verdict
global storms and Cyclone both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 61% of Cyclone's written reviews are positive against 27% of global storms's. Cyclone also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). global storms's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 98). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
