Karl Bartos (electronic musician, ex-KW, co-composer of songs like The Robots, The Model, Computer World,...) and Masayuki Akamatsu (media artist and author of various iPhone apps such as Banner, Oscillator, Echochops,...) create a 16 step music sequencer which is free, simple and fun. The executive producer is Jean-Marc Lederman. We have created this simple music app for fun: it implements the basic waves of a synthesizer with a 16 step sequencer. This app is completely free, but we would be glad if you would consider a donation to the Red Cross. In 2011, the year we were making this app, the Great East Japan Earthquake struck, and we released it as donationware to support the people affected. The damage from that disaster has still not fully healed, and disasters have continued to occur around the world since then. We continue to ask for your support. This application has the functions listed below. - 16 steps sequencer - Start/stop sequence - Multi-touch note input - 32 polyphonic tones + 1 drum track - 4 waves (saw, triangular, square, sine) - 4 drumbeat loops - Drums on/off - Random notes - Clear notes - Additional information Please enjoy our music and think World.

BattleFX was created to satisfy the common request of a dedicated plugin for the send effects in Battalion. The famous "Shatter Delay" and "Headspace Reverb" can now be used on any track. We have included a fully-featured set of mix controls, as well as Solo and Mute, so that you can hear or use each portion individually. Included is the Maximize and EQ section from the Master portion of Battalion, which have quickly become a signature sound of the device, and something fans have requested to use elsewhere. Versatile enough to be used as both a utility-tool and full creative effect, it is the right squad-partner to keep always at your side in the field and trenches. In addition, we have added a system for automatically choking the delay and reverb buffers at repeating intervals, including a Euclidean pattern knob. These can be tempo synced or free, controlled independently on reverb and delay, and even nudged slightly off of the beat in either direction. You can use this to create complex, organic ducking patterns, especially in conjunction with a noisy input and the Maximize knob turned up. If this is your first introduction to a piece of Battalion, be sure to check out the full drum synth itself, which includes everything here besides the automatic choke system (as this can be done directly by sidechaining drum hits).
