Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tasty Planet Lite at 79% against Blobs's 33%. Tasty Planet Lite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (255 vs 1). Blobs's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Blobs holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tasty Planet Lite has 255 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Tasty Planet Lite's written reviews are positive against 33% of Blobs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Tasty Planet Lite ships an update every 9 months, Blobs every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
