Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Tiny Decisions at free with in-app purchases against RandALL's subscription. Tiny Decisions also leads on ratings volume (90K vs 72) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). RandALL's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. RandALL sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and Tiny Decisions sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for RandALL against 4.7 for Tiny Decisions. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tiny Decisions has 90K ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of RandALL's written reviews are positive against 73% of Tiny Decisions's.
RandALL ships an update weekly, Tiny Decisions every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
