Benchmark Slope helps you and your crew determine jobsite elevations, slope and pitch quickly and accurately. Elevation calculations made easy! SET YOUR HEIGHT OF INSTRUMENT After setting up the instrument, enter the jobsite Benchmark Elevation and your rod reading at the benchmark. Benchmark Slope calculates the Height of Instrument (HOI) and locks it for that instrument location. TARGET ROD READINGS, INSTANTLY Enter each intended elevation and Benchmark Slope instantly gives the target rod reading at that point, shown in a large optic. Enter the next elevation right away; your three most recent calculations stay on screen. Apply an offset to target top of sub-grade instead of top of finished slab. SLOPE Calculate the change in elevation, the distance between two points and the slope (gradient) from any three values. Falls To / Climbs To shows the direction at a glance, and ADA Slope Guidance compares the result with common ADA slope guidelines. UNITS AND CONVERSION Work in decimal feet, feet and inches, or metres, each colour-coded. A feet-and-inches keypad with fraction keys makes field entry fast, and Convert shows all three units side by side. HANDS-FREE VOICE Tap LISTEN and speak your numbers. Speech is processed on your phone; nothing is recorded or kept. English and Spanish. LEARN AS YOU GO A guided tutorial walks first-time users through each screen, and tap-to-learn help explains every field. Previously a tedious and error-prone process, Benchmark Slope brings speed and accuracy to establishing jobsite elevations and slopes. Conceived and designed by and for contractors like you, it saves time and money, expands the skill set of your crews, and reduces costly site errors. All measurements provided by this app must be confirmed on site. ADA Slope Guidance is guidance only and does not indicate full compliance.
