Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: MBC MOOD at 54% against Global Arabic+'s 0%. MBC MOOD also leads on ratings volume (156 vs 4). Global Arabic+'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Global Arabic+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MBC MOOD has 156 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of MBC MOOD's written reviews are positive against 0% of Global Arabic+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MBC MOOD ships an update every 4 months, Global Arabic+ every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
