Local Lifer is the bird learning app built around one simple idea: the birds you're most likely to see are the ones worth learning first. Using your location, Local Lifer automatically selects a deck of bird species found in your area — so instead of memorizing hundreds of birds you'll never encounter, you focus on the ones actually flying around your neighborhood, parks, and local trails. LEARN THREE WAYS Flip through photo flashcards to match faces to names. Switch to audio mode to learn bird songs and calls — because half of birding is what you hear, not what you see. When you're ready to test yourself, quiz mode puts four choices in front of you and makes you pick. YOUR REGION, YOUR DECK Local Lifer pulls location-specific decks tailored to where you are. Live in the Pacific Northwest? You'll study different species than someone in Georgia. Travel or move? The app adapts to your current location automatically. CUSTOM DECKS Build your own study sets — perfect for preparing for a birding trip, focusing on a specific family, or drilling the birds you always mix up. WORKS OFFLINE Your decks and media are cached so you can study anywhere, even without a signal. Whether you just started noticing birds or you've been keeping lists for years, Local Lifer gives you the clearest, most relevant path to knowing what's singing outside your window.
