Would you like to see the scenes of Picasso’s Parisian life, or have a drink in the very same cafe where Hemingway wrote his best novels? Get to know the City of Light. Get lost in the maze of classy shopping arcades, admire the city’s world famous palaces and museums. We take you on an unforgettable journey where you don't have to concentrate on reading about the sights but can relax and listen to the narrated information. Got tired of sightseeing? Stop for a drink at the birthplace of Impressionism or try the world-famous French cuisine in a bistro or brasserie. PocketGuide, the world’s leading audio city guide application, reveals the best stories, insider hangouts and must-see sights in more than 100 major cities and tourist destinations. PocketGuide turns your mobile device into a personal tour guide: The GPS figures out where you are, and a voice recording, made by a local guide, describes the sights around you. You don’t need to read text from your phone, just listen and enjoy a city’s attractions while your virtual tour guide explains it all and shares personal insights. PocketGuide works offline, so you save on roaming charges, and it includes an offline map and loads of critical reviews that help you decide where to eat, drink and shop. We also have fascinating themed tours, for those who want to go off the beaten path. Find the top tapas in Barcelona, get chic in NYC’s East Village or follow the trail of a 19th century serial killer in London. Whether you're interested in the main sights or "the road less traveled", PocketGuide is ready to take you there. Please note that continuous use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Paris, painted by hand. Not a cold, flat map: a panorama in perspective where every landmark is drawn as you see it, from the Eiffel Tower to Sacré-Cœur, from Notre-Dame to the Louvre. One glance is enough to understand the city. FIND YOUR WAY Your position appears on the painting, not on an anonymous background. Tap a landmark: a short story, its address, the nearest metro stations, and how long it takes to get there from where you are, on foot or by metro. THE METRO, AT LAST LEGIBLE Switch to Metro mode: the 2026 network sits on the painting, from line 1 to line 14 out to Orly, with the RER and the trams. Under each station name, the time from your position at rush hour. Tap two stations: the route appears, with transfers and the direction to follow on the platform. 382 PLACES WITH THEIR STORIES Monuments, museums, churches, gardens, bridges, theatres: each page tells you what to see and why to stop. The audio guide reads them aloud, offline. YOUR PARIS NOTEBOOK Walk within 80 meters of a place and it joins your notebook. Bronze, silver, gold and platinum medals as you explore. SOUVENIRS Aim the camera at a landmark: the places around you are named in augmented reality. Take the photo, pick a frame (postcard, enamel street sign, notebook stamp…) and share it. FREE, NO SUBSCRIPTION The map, the metro, the pages and your position are free, with a discreet banner. A single purchase, forever, unlocks unlimited routes and the audio guide, and removes ads. Network data: Île-de-France Mobilités (ODbL licence).
