Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 七猫小说 at 4.6 against 纵横小说's 2.8. 七猫小说 also leads on ratings volume (3.5K vs 62) and chart position (#101 vs unranked). 纵横小说's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. 纵横小说 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and 七猫小说 sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
七猫小说 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 七猫小说 has 3.5K ratings behind it against 62, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of 纵横小说's written reviews are positive against 70% of 七猫小说's.
纵横小说 ships an update fortnightly, 七猫小说 every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
