ADOC (Aid for Decision-making in Occupation Choice) facilitates the client to express what he or she wants and needs to do, and encourages participation in rehabilitation goal setting process. ADOC involves the choice of illustrations describing daily activities related to “Activities and participation” in the International Classification of Human Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) chapters. By choosing illustrations, clients and therapists decide on goals and the prioritization of occupations that affect occupational therapy interventions. ADOC can also measure the satisfaction for each chosen occupation as intervention outcomes, and can print out the document. ADOC was developed for occupational therapist, we speculate that any other healthcare practitioner can use it easily. You can download to manual. Subjective Visual Vertical (SVV) is a test that measures the difference between a person’s perceived vertical and the true vertical. It evaluates gravity perception mediated by the otolith organs, vestibular nerve, and central vestibular pathways, and helps detect asymmetry of vestibular function. Using an audio/video remote control or a variety of game controllers, including those for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox, the user adjusts a displayed line until it is perceived as perfectly vertical. After repeating this procedure 10 times, the application calculates the mean deviation from the true vertical and the standard deviation.
