Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Regents at 100% against Geometry ®'s 67%. Geometry ®'s advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (229 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Geometry ® sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Regents sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Geometry ® holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Geometry ® has 229 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Geometry ®'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Regents's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
