sp8cetime (spacetime) measures the cyclical nature of time and the boundless dimensions of space. Based on principles of Chinese Metaphysics, it explores patterns of our world beyond the ordinary and observable: the creation, process, and return — of Ten Thousand Things. Follow the movements of Heaven and Earth as they rise and fall through time. Guide the path of Wind and Water as they carve and pass through space. Witness the source that binds all things and find your place along the Way. Dao 0 Wuji 1 Taiji 2 Polarities (Yin, Yang) 3 Realms (Heaven, Earth, Man) 4 Images (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) 5 Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) 8 Trigrams (Heaven, Lake, Fire, Thunder, Wind, Water, Mountain, Earth) 10 Heavenly Stems (Tree, Flower, Sun, Flame, Mountain, Soil, Iron, Gold, Ocean, Mist) 12 Earthly Branches (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Pig) ---------- This application supports both English and Chinese. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 萬年曆 at none against sp8cetime's 2. 萬年曆 also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). sp8cetime's advantage is ratings volume (90 vs 2) and review sentiment (91% vs 80%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. sp8cetime sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. 萬年曆 asks for nothing beyond the download.
萬年曆 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: sp8cetime has 90 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of 萬年曆's written reviews are positive against 91% of sp8cetime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
萬年曆 ships an update every 2 months, sp8cetime every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
