Naming a tiny human is a big deal. rootlet makes it fun. Swipe through 1,900+ baby names. Keep the ones you love and pass on the ones you don't. Every name comes with a real meaning, origin, and popularity history. Your favorites collect in one place, so a scattered list of maybes turns into a shortlist you actually feel good about. Naming with a partner? Connect with a single code and your likes quietly sync between your two phones. When you both like the same name, it's a match. No more spreadsheets, group texts, or "wait, which one did you like?" Prefer to browse on your own first? That works too. rootlet runs fully offline and needs no account, so you can start swiping the moment you open it. WHAT'S INSIDE • Swipe your way through a huge catalog of names for girls, boys, and unisex picks. • Likes keeps every name you've loved, plus the matches you share with your partner. • Middle names lets you try first-and-middle combinations against your last name, with a read on how the rhythm and syllables land. • Name DNA shows the style hiding in your choices, and a compatibility score for how your taste lines up with your partner's. • Play has Hidden Gems and Rising Stars to dig into, and head-to-head ranking to find your true number one. • Tap any name for its meaning and a popularity graph built from real US Social Security data (1900 to 2025), so you know if a name is timeless, trending, or delightfully rare. • Hear any name out loud, with phonetic respellings for the ones text-to-speech usually mangles (Saoirse, Joaquin, Ximena). Works offline. • Collect badges as little milestones along the way. BUILT TO BE EASY • No account needed. Start swiping instantly, fully offline. • Save your names to an email and password so a new phone brings everything back, even without a partner. • Connecting with a partner syncs your likes so you can see your matches. Saving and syncing are completely optional. • Anonymous usage stats help us improve the app. They never include your names, and you can turn them off in Profile. • Delete your account and its data anytime, right from the app. ROOTLET PLUS Plus gives you unlimited daily swipes, 2,000 rarer names, and head-to-head ranking for your middle-name combos. One purchase covers you and your partner. Choose a 9-month pass, or a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel it in your App Store account settings. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Whether you're naming solo or with someone else, rootlet turns the overwhelming into the enjoyable.
