Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: RTVE Noticias at 3.7 against Orain EITB's 3.3. RTVE Noticias also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 7) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
RTVE Noticias holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RTVE Noticias has 62 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Orain EITB's written reviews are positive against 23% of RTVE Noticias's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Orain EITB ships an update every 2 months, RTVE Noticias monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
