The clearest difference is ads: Alian廣播電台 at none against 中央社新聞's shown. Alian廣播電台 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). 中央社新聞's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 1) and review sentiment (38% vs 25%). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Alian廣播電台 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 中央社新聞 has 42 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of 中央社新聞's written reviews are positive against 25% of Alian廣播電台's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
