REBvibe vs Mobius iVibe
Price, ratings, monetisation and update history for both apps, side by side — with what reviewers say about each.
REBvibe
This application calculates fundamental vibration frequencies for rolling element bearings. Users can input bearing geometry or model numbers to determine various frequencies like BPFI, BPFO, BSF, and FTF. Results are provided in both CPM and Hz, with options for selection via a manufacturing database or direct geometry input.
- Calculates BPFI, BPFO, BSF, and FTF
- Results in CPM and Hz
- Bearing selection by geometry
- Bearing selection by model number
- Uses bearing manufacturing database

REBvibe calculates fundamental vibration frequencies of rolling element bearings. The user can specify the bearing by either bearing geometry or the bearing model number. Features: - Inner Race Ball Pass Frequency and its harmonics (BPFI) - Outer Race Ball Pass Frequency (BPFO) - Ball Spin Frequency (BSF) calculation - Fundamental Train Frequency (FTF) - Results in CPM and Hz - Bearing selection using the bearing manufacturing database - Bearing selection based on the bearing geometry Disclaimer: This App is intended for educational purposes. Although the calculations were made with great care, it may contain errors or inaccuracies. Using the results of the calculations is the sole responsibility of the user.
Mobius iVibe
This app helps identify machine fault conditions by analyzing spectrum symptoms and machine types. It offers explanations, sample spectra, and diagnostic guidance, functioning like a portable reference guide for troubleshooting. Users can navigate through symptoms, machine types, or fault types to find potential issues.
- Identify machine faults by spectrum symptoms
- Browse by machine type to find likely faults
- View sample spectral images
- Detailed diagnostic information
- Scroll through 80 spectral images
- Drill down through symptom lists

Mobius iVibe provides an easy way to look up machine fault conditions based on spectrum symptoms and machine types. You’ll see sample spectra, explanations of faults, and explanations of how to diagnose fault conditions. It is like a wall chart for your iPhone/iPod Touch. 1. Select from a list of symptoms and drill down to find machine faults 2. Select from a list of machine types and drill down to see the likely faults 3. Select from a list of fault types and drill down to see sample spectra. 4. Or just scroll through 80 spectral images. When you see a spectrum (often with phase information and a machine image) you can swipe up and down to see other similar spectra, or swipe left and right to see a page of details, and a page of diagnostic information (how to be sure the diagnosis is correct). Here are a few more details: 1. Select from a list of symptoms (high 1X, high 2X, harmonics, etc.) and drill down to find machine faults that might be a match (unbalance, misalignment, looseness, etc.) 2. Select from a list of machine types (motor, bearings, pumps, etc.) and drill down to see the likely faults (broken rotor bars, wear, cavitation, etc.) 3. Select from a list of fault types (unbalance, misalignment, looseness, etc.) and drill down to see sample spectra. 4. Or you can just scroll through 80 spectral images until you find what you want.
