RosinTune — Your Intonation Mirror Supporting: 简体中文 · 繁體中文 · 日本語 · 한국어 · Español · Français · Deutsch · Português (Brasil) · Italiano · Русский · English Every violinist knows the feeling. You finish a practice session, bow still in hand, and a quiet doubt creeps in: was I actually in tune? RosinTune answers that. It's a real-time intonation tracker built specifically for violinists. Set it beside your music stand and play — RosinTune listens and shows you exactly where every note lands, note by note, cent by cent. How It Works RosinTune uses your iPhone's microphone to detect pitch as you play. A clear visual display shows whether each note is sharp, flat, or dead center — so a drifting F sharp never sneaks past you again. The feedback is immediate, which means you correct intonation on the spot instead of reinforcing the same mistake across an entire session. Built for Practice, Not Performance No complex setup. No external hardware. No calibration ritual. You open the app and you play, and it stays out of your way until you glance over for feedback. Think of it as a second set of ears — objective, tireless, and always honest. Track Your Growth Intonation improves in small increments, and those increments are hard to feel. RosinTune records your accuracy over time so you can see the trend instead of guessing at it. Are your third-position shifts getting cleaner? Is your intonation tightening up in the higher registers? Session history gives you real numbers — set goals, measure progress, and know when you're genuinely improving. Who It's For * Students building solid intonation habits early, before muscle memory locks in mistakes. * Intermediate players working through shifts, double stops, and unfamiliar keys where the fingerboard feels less certain. * Advanced violinists prepping for auditions or recitals who need an objective check on passages that have started to sound "fine" through sheer repetition. Teachers who want to give students concrete intonation feedback between lessons. What RosinTune Is Not RosinTune is not a tuner. It doesn't play a reference pitch and wait for you to match it — it tracks your intonation continuously while you play real music: scales, etudes, repertoire, at tempo. It's not a recording app, a metronome, or a sheet music viewer either. RosinTune does one thing: it tells you how in tune you're playing, right now and over time. Why It Matters Good intonation is the difference between a violinist who sounds polished and one who sounds uncertain — and it's one of the hardest things to judge while you're the one playing. Your ears adjust. Fatigue sets in. You get used to your own mistakes. RosinTune is an external reference that never gets tired and never lies. Features * Real-time pitch detection tuned for the violin's range and timbre * Visual intonation display with cent-accurate drift indication * Practice session history with accuracy trends and statistics * Clean, focused interface built for at-a-glance feedback while you play * No external hardware — works with your iPhone's built-in microphone * Instant startup, with no calibration or account to set up
