Use your iPhone as a strobe light! Or even better: Connect all the iOS devices you can find and use it as one big strobe light! You can use it with your friends at a party to get just in the right mood. The more devices and the darker the environment, the more thrilling it will be. If that is not your kind of environment, use it to get your own party started! We've all been there, it's 3 o'clock in the morning, your head is way up there and you want to move a bit, feel the music a bit more. Well, now you can just open Strobe it on all the devices you can find and go for it! You can activate the camera to see what is in front of you and get a flash on the device screen as well. We even have a simple interactive visualizer to keep your eyes occupied ;) This is the first version. If you have any features in mind which are missing, let me know and maybe we can implement it!

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Magical Rays at 4.6 against Strobe it!'s 4.0. Magical Rays also leads on ratings volume (206 vs 1). Strobe it!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Magical Rays holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magical Rays has 206 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Magical Rays's written reviews are positive against 100% of Strobe it!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
