Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Dropdom™ Jigsaw Puzzle at 4.6 against Emerald Mine's 4.0. Dropdom™ Jigsaw Puzzle also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs paid) and ratings volume (8.6K vs 32). Emerald Mine's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Dropdom™ Jigsaw Puzzle holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dropdom™ Jigsaw Puzzle has 8.6K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Emerald Mine's written reviews are positive against 33% of Dropdom™ Jigsaw Puzzle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Emerald Mine ships an update every 2 weeks, Dropdom™ Jigsaw Puzzle every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
