Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Untappd at 217K against OnlyDrams's 11K. Untappd also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 65%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Untappd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and OnlyDrams sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Untappd against 4.9 for OnlyDrams. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Untappd has 217K ratings behind it against 11K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of Untappd's written reviews are positive against 65% of OnlyDrams's.
Untappd ships an update every 2 weeks, OnlyDrams fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
