Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Snacks Claw at 5.0 against RPS Classic's 4.3. RPS Classic's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and ratings volume (215 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Snacks Claw holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RPS Classic has 215 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of RPS Classic's written reviews are positive against 50% of Snacks Claw's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
