Both are free to download. Washing Machine sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Rug Maker Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.
Rug Maker Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Washing Machine has 38 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Washing Machine's written reviews are positive against 67% of Rug Maker Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Washing Machine ships an update every 12 months, Rug Maker Pro every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
