JellyDazzle turns your iPhone or iPad into a kaleidoscope that listens to your music and dances for you. its Amazing. Put on a song — from Spotify, Apple Music, a speaker across the room, a band in a bar — and the patterns move with it. JellyDazzle listens through the microphone, so your music keeps playing at full volume while the colors fold into symmetry and unfold again. No loops, no presets, no two sessions alike. Made for the way you actually use a phone: • On battery it runs in Lite — a softer picture at 30 frames a second, so it can play through an album without draining you dry. • Plug it in and it becomes full JellyDazzle — native resolution, 60 frames a second, every layer. • Low Power Mode or a warm phone? It drops to Lite on its own and comes back when things cool down. No settings, no restart — it changes mid-show. Touch it: • C, S and ? buttons sit quietly in the corner — new colors, new shapes, and help • Or just tap anywhere for new colors, use two fingers for new shapes, and press and hold for what's playing A love letter to DAZZLE.EXE (James R. Shiflett, 1990), rebuilt for Apple silicon: 24 engine modes in hand-written ARM64 assembly and more than 600 patterns in C, now including creatures and fractals — the same engine on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Private by design: the microphone only feeds the beat detector, in memory. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere — JellyDazzle doesn't even use the network. See it in motion at dazzle.jelia.nyc
