ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Prayer Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prayer Notes has 3.8K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Prayer Notes's written reviews are positive against 80% of My Sermon Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Prayer Notes ships an update every 2 months, My Sermon Notes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
