This app is based upon the 1979 Book of Common Prayer (Episcopal Church). The purpose of this App is to provide the complete Daily Office Lectionary scriptures that are normally only listed by their passages. This enables the reader from having to look these scriptures up. I hope you and your family enjoy this App as much as I have enjoyed creating it for use with my own family.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Lectionarium at Free against Daily Office Lectionary's $1.99. Lectionarium also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months). Daily Office Lectionary's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and chart position (#199 vs unranked). On rating, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Lectionarium holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 26 and 58 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Daily Office Lectionary's written reviews are positive against 53% of Lectionarium's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Daily Office Lectionary ships an update every 8 months, Lectionarium fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
