Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Jump Kid at 100% against Bloo Kid's 52%. Bloo Kid's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 17 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jump Kid sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Bloo Kid asks for nothing beyond the download.
Bloo Kid holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bloo Kid has 108 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Bloo Kid's written reviews are positive against 100% of Jump Kid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Bloo Kid ships an update every 2 months, Jump Kid every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
