El juego original del Cinquillo. Juega a este juego, simple y a la vez adictivo. Comienza el primer turno el jugador que posea el cinco de oros. A partir de ahí, cada jugador podrá poner las cartas correlativas a las ya puestas (en la primera mano el 4 o el 6 de oros) o un cinco de otro palo, y así sucesivamente. Gana el turno el jugador que se quede primero sin cartas. El ganador de cada turno sumará tantos puntos como cartas tengan el resto de jugadores. En los siguientes turnos comienza el jugador situado a la derecha del que comenzó el turno anterior, siempre que tenga un cinco, sea del palo que sea. Hay dos opciones de juegos: Partida corta: gana el jugador que antes llegue a 50 puntos. Partida larga: gana el jugador que antes llegue a 100 puntos.
