Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: MCA District at 47% against Conference Manager's 0%. MCA District also leads on ratings volume (124 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Conference Manager's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 2.1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Conference Manager holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MCA District has 124 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of MCA District's written reviews are positive against 0% of Conference Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MCA District ships an update every 2 months, Conference Manager every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
