Read the Quran on pages that match the printed book. The whole app is painted in gold and blue, like old handwritten Qurans. Listen to any ayah and repeat it as many times as you need. Prayer times for your city, the qibla, and duas for every day. "The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it." (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027) PAINTED IN GOLD AND BLUE • A painting for each surah, and gold that catches the light as you move. • Painted opening pages for Al-Fatihah and Al-Baqarah. • The Quran's words are never changed. The painting is around them. THE PAGES • The Madina mushaf: 15 lines on each page, the same pages as the printed book. Page 562 in the app is page 562 in print. • The 15 line Indopak mushaf used in South Asia. Every page shows the printed book's own calligraphy, traced word by word and checked line by line against it. Painted in the style of the old Qurans of India. • The Classic Madina print (1405H). • Tajweed colours on the Madina print. A list explains what each colour means. • Find any ayah by surah and number, like Baqarah 255, or go to a juz or a page. REPEAT ANY AYAH • Choose one ayah, many ayat, a surah, or a whole juz. • Choose how many times each ayah plays: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, or with no limit. • Choose how many times the whole group plays. • One by one, then together: 1, 2, then 1 and 2, the way a sabaq is built. • Add a pause after each ayah, so you can say it yourself. • Make the recitation slower or faster. • It keeps playing when your phone is locked. 31 RECITERS • Each ayah is recorded on its own, so every repeat starts and stops cleanly. • Sheikh Husary's teaching recording (Muallim), Mishary Alafasy, Minshawi, Abdul Basit, Sudais, Shuraim, Ghamdi, Muaiqly, and more. • Bismillah plays once before a surah, not before every repeat. • After an ayah plays once it works without internet. You can also save any surah, or all 114, with the reciter you choose: go to Settings, then Saved recitations. UNDERSTAND THE MEANING • 19 translations. • Hold your finger on a word to see what it means, in 9 languages. • A short tafsir for every ayah, in 9 languages. • Press Listen, and the page follows the reciter, ayah by ayah. ON IPHONE DUO AND IPAD • Open iPhone Duo, or turn your iPad on its side, and two pages open together, like a printed Quran. • Write on the page with Apple Pencil or your finger. Choose a pen or a highlighter, and one of five colours. Your writing stays on the page, and one switch hides it. • The surah list and the meaning open beside the page, not over it. • A large prayer clock you can read from across the room. EVERY DAY • See how many days in a row you have read, and how many pages you read today. • On Friday, a reminder to read Surah al-Kahf. PRAYER AND DUA • Prayer times for your city, by your country's usual method, with Ishraq, Duha and the last third of the night. • The whole day on one page, with the path of the sun. • The qibla on an astrolabe, and your distance to Makkah. • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with the time until the next prayer. • An adhan or an alarm for each prayer, only if you turn it on. • Morning and evening adhkar, duas after salah, durood, and duas for each day. Each one shows where it comes from. SHARE THE APP The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever guides to a good deed will get the same reward as the doer of that deed." (Sahih Muslim 1893) If this app helps you, send it to your family, friends or hifz class from Settings. PRIVATE • No account. We do not track you. • Your location is used only if you tap Use my location. Your phone works out the prayer times from it, and asks Apple Maps for your town's name. THANKS The Quran text, page layout and fonts come from the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex and the Quranic Universal Library. The tafsir comes from QuranEnc.com. The French word meanings are by Dr Usama Nonnenmacher. This app helps you practise every day. It does not replace a teacher.
