Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Package Tracker at 4.8 against JumpTrack's 3.3. Package Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (164 vs 4). JumpTrack's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Package Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Package Tracker has 164 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of JumpTrack's written reviews are positive against 13% of Package Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

JumpTrack ships an update every 4 months, Package Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 12, 2026 and September 5, 2026 respectively.
