Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Watch TBS at 3.3 against LiveViewGolf's 2.8. Watch TBS also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 20) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). LiveViewGolf's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (33% vs 4%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Watch TBS holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch TBS has 12K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Watch TBS's written reviews are positive against 33% of LiveViewGolf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Watch TBS ships an update every 3 months, LiveViewGolf monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
