Both are free to download. Urban Hoops sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Flinguin asks for nothing beyond the download.
Urban Hoops holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flinguin has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Flinguin's written reviews are positive against 33% of Urban Hoops's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Flinguin ships an update every 5 months, Urban Hoops every 12 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
