Mini Camera

Mini Camera is a small camera app for capturing everyday scenes as retro pixel photos, videos, and GIF loops. With a rough pixel look, dithered tones, exposure control, and contrast control, it turns what you see into nostalgic digital footage. Captured photos, videos, and GIFs can be saved to your Photos library. Camera frames are processed on device, and the app does not collect data. Features: - Capture retro pixel photos - Record short videos and GIF loops - Switch between 0.5x / 1x / 2x lenses - Choose video stabilization modes - Change the pixel style - Adjust exposure and contrast - Save captures to your Photos library The free version records video and GIF loops at 12 fps for up to 10 seconds. A one-time Pro purchase unlocks 30 fps and recordings up to 30 seconds. Mini Camera is designed to be small, direct, and easy to use: open the app, frame the scene, and shoot.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Mini Camera at Free against 8bit's $0.99. Mini Camera also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 months). 8bit's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.
