Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Hands at $2.99 against Inference Clues's $7.99. Inference Clues's advantage is rating (3.3 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Hands costs $2.99 and Inference Clues $7.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Inference Clues holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inference Clues has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Hands's written reviews are positive against 80% of Inference Clues's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Hands ships an update every 8 months, Inference Clues every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
