Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Options Trading Calculator at 5.0 against OptionPosition+'s 4.0. Options Trading Calculator also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). OptionPosition+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (84% vs 50%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Options Trading Calculator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OptionPosition+ has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of OptionPosition+'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Options Trading Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
