Both are free to download. AlienFaced sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Mirror Paint asks for nothing beyond the download.
AlienFaced holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Mirror Paint's written reviews are positive against 60% of AlienFaced's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Mirror Paint ships an update every 13 months, AlienFaced every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
