Verdict
Air Matters and 墨迹天气HD both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of 墨迹天气HD's written reviews are positive against 50% of Air Matters's. 墨迹天气HD also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Air Matters's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 43) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.
