This app allows you to instantly calculate the infusion rate of the main drugs used in emergency care: simply select the required dosage and, if needed, the patient’s weight. Each drug includes: • An interactive therapeutic chart with indications of possible boluses and infusion rates (ml/h) for different dilution modes, both with a pump and gravity infusion. • A concise yet comprehensive information sheet with indications, contraindications, warnings, and references. INTERCheck è il sistema di supporto alle prescrizioni sviluppato dall'Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri IRCCS realizzato con l'obiettivo di migliorare l'appropriatezza prescrittiva nel paziente anziano attraverso un approccio di valutazione delle terapie che tiene in considerazione diversi aspetti della farmacologia geriatrica: - Interazioni tra farmaci (database delle interazioni realizzato ed aggiornato dall'IRCCS - Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri). - Farmaci potenzialmente inappropriati nell'anziano secondo differenti criteri delle letteratura scientifica (Beers; START/STOPP; STOPP Frail). - Valutazione del carico anticolinergico (Anticholinergic Cognitive Burden scale). - Modalità di sospensione dei farmaci che necessitano riduzione graduale delle dosi. - Dosaggio dei farmaci in soggetti con alterata funzionalità renale. - GerontoNet ADR Risk Score, per l'identificazione dei pazienti a maggior rischio di effetti indesiderati da farmaco. - Valutazione dei benefici e dei rischi attesi dalla terapia farmacologica attraverso l'impiego degli NNT&NNH - Valutazione del rischio di compatibilità per i farmaci somministrati in fiale - Algoritmo Naranjo per la valutazione del nesso di causalità tra un farmaco ed un evento avverso. - Algoritmo DIPS (Drug Interaction Probability Scale) per la valutazione del nesso di causalità evento avverso-interazione tra farmaci. L'app permette di registrarsi al servizio, che è disponibile anche su web all'indirizzo www.intercheckweb.it, e di gestire una propria lista di pazienti, offrendo per ognuno di essi la valutazione della terapia farmacologica e degli algoritmi citati.
