Verdict
Polka and Color Dots! both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Polka's written reviews are positive against 22% of Color Dots!'s. Polka also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). Color Dots!'s advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 39) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.
